The traditional village Elos is located 60 kilometers southwest of the city of Chania, built at an altitude of 560 meters above sea level and is on the road to the Monastery of Chrysoskalitissa and wonderful Elafonisi beach. Elos is a place you “must” stop for food and relax after your visit to Lafonisi.
Elos is a small village with little stone houses surrounded by rich vegetation, chestnut trees, groves and plane trees. The waters that spring from the foothills of Agios Dikaios Job provide shade and green, and during the summer months is an oasis for residents and visitors.
The square of Elos, the church of Agios Ioannis Theologos, the old aqueduct, the chapel of Agios Dikaios Job on the top of the homonymous mountain are some of the attractions you can visit.
